The owners wished to update and modernize their 1970's Tudor home for their growing family. The challenging hillside structure was gutted down to the stud walls to take advantage of the 270- degree views of the San Francisco Bay by creating expansive gathering spaces connected to multiple terraces and outdoor rooms by retractable glass walls. The home was reconfigured providing primary entertainment zones and private family retreat over four levels. A warm material palette using various natural stones, polished concrete floors and steel detailing were punctuated with splashes of color.
